Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and payment information (processed by Stripe). We do not store credit card numbers.

Consent Data

When visitors interact with ConsentKit widgets on your website, we process consent decisions including: consent preferences, approximate location (country/state level), timestamp, and the applicable privacy law. This data is stored to provide you with compliance records.

Website Analytics

We use minimal analytics on consentkit.us to understand traffic patterns. We do not use third-party advertising trackers on our own website.

To provide and maintain our consent management service
To generate compliance reports and analytics for your dashboard
To process payments and manage your subscription
To send service-related communications (no marketing without consent)

Data Retention

Consent records are retained according to your plan: 6 months (Standard) or 2 years (Enterprise). Account data is retained while your account is active and for 30 days after deletion.

Data Security

We use encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest. Our infrastructure is hosted on Cloudflare (edge) and secure VPS providers (API/database).
